Unable to compile due to scope issues on Windows in Dev-C. By JITENDER AHUJA on Sun Mar 24, 2019 04:18 AM 1. Nov 03, 2019 Turbo C is a 16 bit program natively, so it should not run on systems running Windows 7 and greater. It has its own compiler TCC which is again of 16 bit and it is not supported by any other new system. With Windows 8, windows officially dropped VDM from the system, terminating support to 16-bit executables.

Hello bro I have a problem and that problem is when i am in Dev-c and write my code then compiled and click run the program doesn't running and relying me 'consolePause.exe has stopped working'; how can I solve that problem guy's. Jun 05, 2009 dev-c Won't run any programs at all. When I press compile and run, it compiles but does not run. I have to go to the directory where it puts the output files and run it from there. Anyone here got any ideas of what can be causing this? I can go into the folder where it compiles them to and run the programs manually and they work.
